I signed up for an amateur radio class in early February, and attended the examination this morning. They didn’t tell us how well we did, but I’ve been taking practice tests at hamexam.org and I pass 4 of 5 tests at 80% or higher.

I’ll attend a field setup class in April, and thereafter I’ll be thinking about buying hardware-radio, antenna, etc.
